Molex is seeking a Business Development Manager - Datacom to drive growth across the North region by developing influential customer relationships and exploring new market opportunities within Datacom and related markets.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in business development or sales within datacom or data centre markets.
• Strong network within OEMs, or infrastructure providers.
• Experience selling technical products (connectors, cabling, fibre, Networking Hardware).
• Proven track record of winning complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
• Degree in electrical/ mechanical/ industrial engineering or related field.
• Passion for sales and marketing with demonstrated demand creation in the Datacom sector.
• Strategic thinker who is also willing to experiment.
• Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture strong, impactful key customer relationships with regular engagement.
• Identify and pursue new customer development opportunities.
• Support a consultative-selling approach to provide interconnect solutions addressing customer needs.
• Align business unit and customer roadmaps to address long-term requirements in Datacom customers.
• Develop and be accountable for strategic customer growth plans (Playbooks) to meet profitability and pipeline goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and coordinate support from various business units.
• Monitor industry and competitor trends to provide marketing intelligence and insights.
• Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities across datacom segments (Cooling, Power Infrastructure, Rack, Supercomputing & AI).
