Job summary

Abbott’s Digital, Data & AI Team in Sligo seeks a Data Product Lead to define and deliver data products that create measurable business value across Abbott Diabetes Care. You’ll bridge business needs with data & technology teams to ensure data is managed as a strategic asset with ownership and governance.

You will lead end-to-end data product development, establish enterprise SOPs, and set up frameworks that support data quality, analytics, automation, and AI adoption across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years' experience in Data & Analytics, Data Product Management, Business Intelligence, Data Governance, or a related discipline.
• Proven track record delivering data products and analytics solutions that drive business value.
• Strong knowledge of data management, governance, quality, architecture, analytics, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and deliver the data product vision, strategy, and roadmap for datasets, analytics, data platforms, APIs, and AI-enabled capabilities.
• Translate business requirements into scalable data product solutions that support operational excellence and business growth.
• Prioritise product features and enhancements based on business value, stakeholder needs, and strategic objectives.
• Establish and track product performance through KPIs and measurable business outcomes.
• Communicate value propositions and impact of data products to stakeholders at all levels.
• Partner with business leaders to understand challenges, secure engagement, and drive adoption of data products and capabilities.
• Define and monitor data quality metrics; ensure governance, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
• Drive self-service analytics, automation, and AI adoption to improve efficiency and decision-making.
• Manage data products through full lifecycle from concept to adoption and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with data engineering, architecture, and analytics teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Gather user feedback and performance data to enhance product effectiveness and user experience.
