Telnyx is building a next-generation infrastructure platform spanning multiple cloud providers and continents. You will design and deploy scalable databases and stateful services, collaborating with engineering to improve availability and performance.

In this role, you will lead migrations from VMs to Kubernetes, implement disaster recovery and observability, and help scale our data platforms. A strong Linux background and hands-on experience with Kubernetes are essential for success.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of professional experience in Linux-based infrastructure operations.
• Expertise in Kubernetes, Ansible, or Terraform for stateful apps.
• Scripting skills with Bash or Python to automate workflows.
• Hands-on experience with at least one relational DB (PostgreSQL/MySQL).

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable DB infrastructure across virtualized environments and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve pain points in managing large-scale DB infrastructure.
• Lead migration of DB services from VMs to Kubernetes with minimal downtime.
• Support disaster recovery, backups, and performance tuning for on-prem databases.
• Implement and manage observability, logging, and alerting systems.
