Job summary

Elwood Roberts - Your Trusted Recruitment Partner in Dublin is seeking a motivated Business Analyst specializing in data governance. You will define requirements, improve data quality and governance processes, and act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams under the Data Governance Lead.

The role is roughly 70% BA/stakeholder management and 30% data governance/technical understanding, with hybrid Dublin office attendance 2-3 days a week.

Qualifications

• Proven BA experience in data, analytics, governance, or technology environments.
• Hands-on with Data Governance and Data Quality programmes - mandatory.
• Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Experience facilitating workshops and stakeholder sessions.
• Knowledge of data catalogue/metadata platforms (Atlan, Collibra, Purview).
• Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
• Ideally exposure to Data Access Management processes.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements for data governance initiatives and data quality improvements.
• Bridge business stakeholders and technical teams; report to Data Governance Lead.
• Lead or support workshops and stakeholder sessions; ensure alignment with governance goals.
• Contribute to data catalog/metadata management and ongoing governance processes.
