Job summary

Fidelity Ireland is seeking a Data Engineer to support Asset Management's Equity data needs. You will work hands‑on on dataset provisioning, Oracle database development, ETL, testing, deployment and L3 support.

The role requires Oracle SQL/PLSQL expertise, data analysis ability, and familiarity with Agile practices. You will contribute to data platforms used across Fidelity's Asset Management organization.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL.
• Some experience in data analysis.
• Experience in SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning.
• Exposure to Agile development practices.
• Familiarity with logical data modelling and relational database design.
• Data movement and ETL experience (preferably Informatica).
• Experience with native AWS services, creating Data APIs, Snowflake and Python would be advantageous.
• Unix scripting and AutoSys skills would be a plus.
• Data Warehousing knowledge would be advantageous.
• Oracle APEX knowledge would be advantageous.
