Job summary

EOS IT Solutions in Dublin seeks an Assembly Operative – Repair Service to support data centre hardware repair workflows. You will prepare components, identify and track items, and assemble or replace parts following approved procedures.

The role emphasizes accuracy, adherence to safety guidelines, and collaboration with site teams to maintain quality and efficiency in repair operations.

Qualifications

• Basic English required and ability to follow detailed procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hardware components, spare parts, and equipment for repair activities.
• Identify, scan, label, track, and update the status of components and equipment in relevant systems.
• Carry out component assembly or replacement following approved procedures and work instructions.
• Support repair workflows involving servers, storage systems, network equipment, power systems, cooling equipment, and related hardware.
• Perform visual inspections and basic procedural checks.
• Maintain accurate operational records in required tracking tools and client systems.
• Support the controlled flow of components and equipment within the Repair Service.
• Maintain an organised and compliant workspace in line with 5S and site standards.
• Use tools and equipment safely and correctly.
• Escalate damaged equipment, missing components, process deviations, or other non-standard situations to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors, client representatives, and other site stakeholders.
• Follow all safety, quality, security, confidentiality, and site-access requirements.
