EHS Coordinator role based in Ireland, supporting the EHS Manager to implement and continually improve environmental, health and safety standards on a live data centre project. You will work closely with project management, contractors and the EHS team to ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements.

• Previous experience in an EHS Coordinator role.
• Experience working within data centres, critical infrastructure, construction, MEP or high-risk environments.
• Strong understanding of construction health and safety requirements.
• Experience conducting site inspections and safety audits.
• Experience with risk assessments, method statements and permit-to-work systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with contractors, subcontractors and project management teams.
• Good organisational and documentation skills.
• Proactive approach to identifying and resolving EHS issues.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing project environment.

Responsabilidades

• Support the EHS Manager in implementing the site EHS management system.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits and behavioural safety observations.
• Identify hazards and unsafe practices and ensure corrective actions.
• Assist with risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work.
• Monitor compliance with site rules, permit-to-work systems and client EHS requirements.
• Support the investigation of incidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences.
• Assist with developing and delivering toolbox talks, safety briefings and EHS inductions.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor compliance with EHS requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, observations, corrective actions and incidents.
• Participate in daily and weekly EHS meetings.
• Promote a positive safety culture throughout the project.
• Support emergency preparedness exercises and ensure emergency arrangements remain effective.
• Assist with monitoring high-risk activities including lifting operations, work at height, electrical works, confined spaces, hot works and temporary works.
