Job summary

Verto People, Ltd. is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead engineering contractors delivering hyperscale data centre construction projects in Milan, Italy.

The role involves contractor coordination, site delivery, and construction activities within a mission-critical infrastructure environment. The ideal candidate has a background managing engineering contractors, subcontractors, and complex construction delivery activities, with EU passport eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering contractors throughout construction delivery.
• Manage site activities to support project progress, quality and safety expectations.
• Oversee contractor performance and day-to-day construction coordination.
• Support delivery of hyperscale data centre infrastructure projects.
• Work closely with contractors and project stakeholders to maintain progress against programme requirements.
• Provide site leadership across construction activities during the assigned rotation.
