Kirby Group Engineering is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial function on a flagship data centre project in Sweden. You will drive commercial governance, reporting and risk management from pre-construction through final account, collaborating with commercial, operations and project teams.

Qualifications

• Degree equipped in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Extensive experience in a Commercial Manager or Senior Commercial role in construction, engineering, data centre environments.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, governance and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial activities from tender to final account.
• Manage revenue, profitability, cash flow forecasting and monthly reporting.
• Provide strategic commercial leadership across full project lifecycle.
• Review, negotiate and manage client contracts with risk control.
• Lead commercial negotiations with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate commercial, contractual and financial risks.
• Oversee profit plans, forecasts and project performance.
• Support teams with commercial guidance and contractual interpretation.
• Develop commercial team members and manage documentation.
• Drive resolution of commercial issues and final accounts.
• Audit processes and promote commercial excellence across the project.
