Job summary

Reboot Monkey is seeking a Data Center Technician in Cork City, Ireland. This full-time, on-site role supports critical infrastructure at our data center facilities.

You will install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment, perform cabling, and assist with capacity planning and upgrades while adhering to ITIL practices and safety standards. The position requires 3+ years in data center operations, strong documentation skills, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs; certificates

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data center operations experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.
• Maintain accurate documentation and asset tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
• Participate in capacity planning and upgrades.
