Qualifications

• Strong interest in IT infrastructure, networking, or data centre technologies.
• Knowledge of fibre optics, structured cabling, or network fundamentals is advantageous.
• Relevant technical qualification, apprenticeship, certification, or hands-on experience.
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced technical environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work in a hands-on operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Installing, routing, and maintaining fibre optic and copper cabling.
• Performing cable management, labelling, and documentation activities.
• Assisting with network and server hardware installations.
• Supporting troubleshooting and maintenance of infrastructure equipment.
• Conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Following operational, safety, and quality standards within the data centre.
• Working with senior technicians to resolve hardware and connectivity issues.
• Supporting inventory management and asset tracking processes.
