Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) seeks a Data Centre Shift Lead Technician to oversee a 24/7 operational team within the Dublin Campus data centre. You will monitor critical facility systems, manage incident response, and coordinate with the day team to align electrical and mechanical work.

The role requires an engineering trade qualification, strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure, and proven leadership in a high-pressure environment.

Qualifications

• Fully verifiable trade qualification in engineering or related field.
• Understanding of LV power distribution and data centre systems.
• Strong communication and ability to report/incidents clearly.

Responsibilities

• Be the main point of contact on shifts for client and CBRE management.
• Monitor critical systems from the central facilities operation centre.
• Supervise the shift team during rotation and ensure escalation per Runbook.
