Job summary

AWS Data Center Learning seeks a Learning Experience Designer to own instructional design strategy for the Dublin portfolio, delivering end-to-end training solutions that support our global data center workforce.

You will balance craft with program management, driving multiple concurrent projects, measuring impact, and continually improving content with data and feedback. This is a full-time office role in Dublin.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and developing IT or technical training materials and content.
• Experience in a training role, including technical training.
• Experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing, planning, and managing time.
• Experience with adult learning instructional design methods and best practices.
• Experience with project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead learning needs analyses in partnership with SMEs, PMs, and stakeholders to translate business goals into instructional strategies that drive behavior change.
• Own the instructional design of your portfolio, defining objectives, content structure, assessment strategy, and evaluation criteria grounded in adult learning.
• Make data-driven decisions across the content lifecycle: define success metrics, measure signals, and prioritize based on data.
• Apply ADDIE and Agile methodologies to manage the full content development lifecycle from analysis to evaluation.
• Program manage multiple concurrent projects with plans, timelines, and risk mitigations, communicating status to stakeholders.
• Drive intake, scoping, and prioritization of new learning requests using data and business impact.
• Design and develop learning in formats including web-based training, ILT, job aids, videos, and hands-on assessments.
• Translate complex technical data center concepts into clear learning content for a global audience.
• Use data, metrics, and learner feedback to measure effectiveness and identify gaps in the portfolio.
• Apply AI-assisted design tools to accelerate content development and enhance learner experience.
