Job summary

Amazon is seeking an engineering leader to drive operational excellence in its Dublin data centers. You will manage and grow a team of engineers and technicians, while ensuring uninterrupted service through strategic management and hands-on technical leadership.

The role focuses on leading complex infrastructure, optimizing power, cooling, and monitoring systems, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-availability facilities for AWS customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in people management and team development.
• Experience in engineering work, managing large-scale services.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers, shift technicians, contractors and vendors to uphold high operational standards.
• Oversee multiple data center availability zones and implement strategic infrastructure management.
• Develop and execute project plans to improve facility efficiency and performance.
• Operate and manage critical systems including power distribution, generators, cooling, and monitoring.
• Support facility expansion and infrastructure development projects.
