Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a client-side CSA Engineer SME for a Big Tech client as part of their expanding Data Centre Programme on an 18‑month rolling contract. The role focuses on civil, structural, and architectural design, leading design reviews, and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams to deliver robust, compliant data centre facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil/structural/architectural engineering or related field.
• Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership.
• 5–10+ years of progressive experience in civil/structural/architectural engineering, focusing on complex projects or infrastructure such as data centers and large-scale facilities.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design, and familiarity with building codes and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert input during design reviews, site due diligence, and construction administration phases.
• Lead and coordinate civil, structural, and architectural design activities for data center projects.
• Develop and review construction documents including structural drawings and specs with data centre considerations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment with client requirements and site constraints.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards across projects.
