Amazon Data Services Ireland Limited is seeking a Controls Engineer for Construction to lead building automation systems (BMS/EPMS) across AWS data centers. You will work on challenging control platforms, coordinating with DCEO teams to ensure high availability and resiliency, and contribute to major innovations in building controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in vendor management.
• Experience in a data center or other critical environment.
• Experience in data center engineering or operations.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsabilités

• Ascertain customer needs to develop project scope and specifications.
• Manage scopes of work relative to the site specifics and customer needs.
• Read and interpret specifications and apply them to the work environment.
• Develop control panel BOMs and ISA data sheets for temperature, level, flow, and pressure transmitters as well as control valves and instrumentation.
• Prepare cable routing plans and schedules.
• Perform inspections, testing, and commissioning of facility systems.
• Coordinate project work internally within the department and externally with other departments to ensure on‑time completion of projects within budget.
• Travel domestically and internationally to support other regions.
