Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an exceptional Controls Design Engineer to join our Data Center Global Services controls team. You will develop and maintain BMS/EPMS standards, CPLs, and Basis of Design across AWS data centers, serving as the technical SME for complex control systems and collaborating with internal and external teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• Experience in data center environments or mission-critical facilities is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building operations, BMS/EPMS programming concepts, and electrical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BMS/EPMS standards and CPL/BOD documents.
• Coordinate with global teams for SOWs and project standards.
• Lead vendor selection, bid reviews, and submittal reviews for compliance with AWS standards.
• Work in high-security, mission-critical environments ensuring safety and productivity.
• Travel as needed to manage projects (circa 25%).
