Job summary

ComReg in Dublin is seeking a Cybersecurity Engagement and Policy specialist to support engagement activities, policy analysis and regulatory coordination within the Cybersecurity and Resilience Regulation Division. The role advances ComReg’s cyber security mandate through collaboration, policy development and stakeholder engagement.

The successful candidate will work with national and international stakeholders, provide policy advice, and contribute to strategic planning and programme

Qualifications

• Honours degree in public policy, law, political science, international relations, business, communications or related discipline.
• Significant relevant professional experience in policy development, stakeholder engagement, cybersecurity, regulation or programme management may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity policy or resilience regulation is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ongoing engagement with regulated entities, government departments and international organisations.
• Coordinate and support stakeholder engagement activities, consultations, workshops and awareness initiatives.
• Analyse cybersecurity policy and legislation, and present insights to ComReg senior management.
• Contribute to stakeholder engagement strategies and communication campaigns.
• Represent ComReg in national and international working groups, conferences and forums.
• Plan and manage stakeholder events and engagement activities.
