Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering is seeking a dedicated information security professional to lead cyber security governance, ISMS and AI governance across the organisation. The role focuses on risk, compliance, evidence collection and audit readiness within a fast-paced, multinational engineering services context.

You will drive governance improvements, coordinate internal and external audits and ensure policies and controls remain current and effective.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Information Security Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) principles.
Experience managing ISO 27001 ISMS and continual improvement.
Solid understanding of GDPR, data protection, records management and governance requirements.
Proven ability to manage risk registers, control frameworks and corrective actions.
Knowledge of AI governance and EU AI Act requirements.

Responsibilities

Maintain cyber security governance, risk and compliance framework, and provide reporting to management.
Own risk registers, control libraries, compliance records and remediation trackers.
Coordinate audits, evidence gathering, findings and remediation actions.
Ensure ISMS policies, procedures and controls are current and audit-ready.
Oversee information classification, retention and records-management requirements.
Monitor Purview retention, labeling and data protection controls.
Develop and maintain AI governance framework and supporting processes.
