Job summary

PFH Technology Group is seeking a Cyber Security Architect to work with our client on national digital health and infrastructure initiatives. The role is delivery‑facing and will flex across a portfolio of active programmes, reviewing architecture and design artefacts, conducting threat modelling and risk assessments, and providing practical security guidance under the Security Architecture Lead.

The candidate will spend the majority of time on technical review and design validation across

Qualifications

• Significant current hands-on experience in security architecture.
• Experience reviewing security architecture for complex digital/cloud solutions.
• Experience producing threat models, risk assessments and design reviews.
• Knowledge of NIS2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF and GDPR.

Responsibilities

• Review architectures, designs and supplier solutions for security requirements and controls.
• Conduct structured security architecture reviews and provide findings.
• Produce practical security architecture recommendations for secure design and implementation.
• Support secure high-level and low-level designs for applications, cloud services and infrastructure.
• Conduct threat modelling, vulnerability analysis and risk assessments.
• Identify risks and mitigate with proportionate measures.
• Monitor threat landscape and advise on actions to maintain security posture.
• Collaborate with governance teams as a technical SME.
