Job summary

Marks & Spencer in Cork is seeking a part-time team member to support daily store operations and deliver outstanding customer service during your scheduled hours (Sunday 15:00–19:00, Monday 16:00–20:00, Tuesday 16:00–20:00, Saturday 16:00–20:00).

You will work with colleagues to maintain store standards, assist customers with product information, and participate in events to hit sales targets while upholding safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Create an exceptional customer experience by proactively serving customers and modelling service behaviours.
• Put the customer first and prioritise customer before task.
• Deliver an inspiring shopping environment through product presentation and availability.
• Involvement in Plan A activity to support local community initiatives.
• Sell confidently to customers using knowledge of products and services to sell more in store and through all digital channels.
• Ask questions to understand customer needs and actively offer personal recommendations and suggestions.
• Actively take part in store events to achieve selling targets.
• Create selling opportunities at all service points.
• Understand store business priorities and help improve store performance.
• Follow safe and legal working practices.
• Minimise losses by working productively and efficiently.
• Deliver all key activity and operational processes within areas of responsibility and look for opportunities to improve.
