Job summary

Lidl Ireland is seeking a Customer Assistant to join our stores, helping customers, stocking and managing tills while maintaining high store standards across shifts.

The role requires 18+ for alcohol, a friendly can-do attitude, reliability, and teamwork. Salary starts at €15.40 per hour, rising to €17.90 after three years, with benefits including pension, holidays and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Preferably, previous experience in a customer facing role but this is not essential provided you have the right attitude.

Responsibilities

• Interacting with the customer in a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner.
• Ensuring stock loss controls are followed in all areas of the store.
• Maintaining store and external cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Following freshness and rotation principles.
• Ensuring all waste is managed correctly.
• Assisting in the stock count process.
