Job summary

Bon Secours Hospital Limerick is hiring a CSSD Operative to join the sterile services team. The role handles cleaning, disinfection, packing and autoclaving of instruments, working within a multidisciplinary hospital environment to ensure high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will have a Leaving Certificate (or equivalent), with QQI/FETAC Level 5 in Health Service Skills desirable, and proven CSSD or decontamination experience.

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
• QQI/FETAC Level 5 in Health Service Skills is desirable.
• Experience in Decontamination or CSSD is desirable.
• Proficient in information technology and relevant systems.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Committed to health and safety protocols in line with hospital policies.
• Knowledge of working in an accredited Private Hospital or similar healthcare role is desirable.
