Job summary

Bon Secours Hospital Limerick invites applications for a CSSD Operative in a full-time, permanent capacity. You will assist in sterilising medical devices, cleaning, disinfection, packing and autoclaving, ensuring a high-quality service within a clinical environment.

You will collaborate with CSSD, Theatre and Endoscopy teams, adhere to health and safety protocols, and support efficient resource use while maintaining patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• QQI/FETAC Level 5 in Health Service Skills or Healthcare Support is desirable.
• Proven experience in Decontamination or CSSD (Desirable).
• Proficient in the use of information technology and relevant systems (Essential).
• Strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team (Essential).
• Excellent organisational and time management skills (Essential).
• Committed to following all health and safety protocols in line with hospital policies (Essential).
• Knowledge/experience of working in an accredited Private Hospital or similar healthcare role (Desirable).
