Job summary

Claran Consultants Ltd seeks a CSA Lead / Co-Ordinator for a leading Biotech facility in Limerick. The role is onsite and initially a 12-month contract, delivering multiple discipline projects within the onsite projects group.

The successful candidate will coordinate contractor activities, review scope and schedule, manage multiple projects, and ensure health and safety compliance across the site from construction through turnover.

Qualifications

• BE degree in Engineering preferred.
• 5 to 10+ years experience in Construction environments.
• Significant experience in Construction co-ordination, in Pharmaceutical/Biopharmaceutical industries.
• Proficiency with Windows apps (Word, PowerPoint, Project, Advanced Excel and Access).
• Good communication skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate contractor activities to monitor and track work and ensure delivery of the schedule.
• Collaborate with Facility Users, Operations and Craft on site.
• Participate in Constructability and Safety reviews.
• Attend morning coordination meetings with Operations.
• Read and interpret standard construction documents, drawings, schedules, contracts and proposals.
• Review project scope, budget and schedule.
• Manage workload of multiple projects of varying complexity.
• Experience with construction startup and turnover through commissioning/handover would be an advantage.
• Oversee all aspects of Health & Safety on site.

• Experience with construction, startup, and turnover of facilities systems through commissioning/handover would be an advantage.

• Programming works schedule and monitoring building progress, compliance with regulations and costs.

Educational Requirements

A BE degree in Engineering is preferred along with 5 to 10 plus years experience in Construction environments Significant previous experience of Construction co-ordination, in the Pharmaceutical / Bio Pharmaceutical industries. Candidate must have proficiency in a windows based environment and software (Word, PowerPoint, project, advanced excel and access) Good communication skills essential.
