Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering is expanding its CSA Engineering team to support the delivery of large-scale hyperscale data centre projects from design coordination through construction, commissioning and handover.

This role offers high-impact experience across civil, structural and architectural packages within fast-paced, technically complex data centre environments. You will work with a multidisciplinary team across MEP, QA/QC, planning, BIM and project management, with hybrid working where possible.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years’ post‑graduate CSA engineering experience.
• Willingness to undertake site-based work in Ireland, the UK or Europe.
• Strong ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams and manage subcontractor interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Review civil, structural and architectural design packages for CSA alignment with project requirements.
• Coordinate design information between CSA, MEP, BIM and external designers.
• Raise RFIs, design queries and clarifications.
• Ensure CSA design interfaces with MEP, building envelope and underground services.
• Participate in design coordination workshops and model reviews.
• Support buildability reviews and sequencing plans from concept to IFC.
• Oversee day-to-day site activities and ensure alignment with design and programme.
• Coordinate with structural steel, concrete, architectural and facade subcontractors.
• Monitor progress, installation quality and safety compliance.
• Support QA/QC teams and ensure smooth interfaces with MEP.
• Track changes, variations and project risks; escalate as needed.
