Job summary

Wallace Myers International is seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join a major data centre project in Dublin. You will support coordination and delivery of CSA design solutions across Civil, Structural and Architectural disciplines, in close coordination with MEP.

You will work with internal teams, consultants and site-based construction teams to keep design intent aligned with fast-paced project requirements, ensuring designs are compliant and fully coordinated.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a design engineering role within construction or building services.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or similar discipline.
• Experience with multidisciplinary design teams on construction projects; knowledge of standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support development and coordination of CSA design solutions across all project disciplines.
• Prepare and review drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Ensure design deliverables meet project specifications, regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants and stakeholders on design-related activities.
• Participate in Design Meetings, Coordination Meetings and Project Reviews.
• Liaise with construction teams to ensure design intent is understood and implemented on site.
• Assist in managing RFIs and ensure timely responses to technical queries.
• Support review and approval process for technical submittals and design documentation.
• Ensure coordination between CSA and MEP design elements.
• Identify and help resolve design, technical and coordination issues.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date design documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support commercial teams by identifying design-related risks and potential variations.
