Job summary

Medtronic Ireland is seeking a Technical Consultant to support the service and sales of the Cranial & Spinal portfolio, including spinal navigation, imaging, and robotics. You will provide onsite clinical and technical support in operating theatres, train theatre staff, and manage inventory across districts.

You will collaborate with Therapy Sales Specialists and other Technical Consultants, developing strong customer relationships and ensuring high standards of patient safety and ethics while

Qualifications

• Experience in the medical device industry or in a hospital operating room environment.
• Ability to operate in a matrix environment and work effectively with sales team, physicians, nurses, and hospital technicians.
• Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule, travel and weekend support are required.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical and technical support in theatres for cranial & spine cases.
• Provides troubleshooting support to field sales force and customers.
• Participates in development of employee and customer training/education programs.
• Participates in regional events such as Congresses or Customer Events.
• Ensures inventory is maintained at its optimal level as per guidelines.
• Identify ways to impact at scale and deliver outcomes with patient safety, quality, and ethics.
• Supports marketing and sales in the introduction and market release of new products.
