Job summary

CSC Fund Administration (Ireland) Limited is seeking an accomplished executive to serve as Chief Executive Officer and Country Head of Fund Administration, a PCF-8 role subject to Central Bank of Ireland approval. The appointee will lead the Irish fund administration business, set and execute its strategy, and ensure high standards of client service and operational performance.

The Position

CSC Fund Administration (Ireland) Limited is seeking an accomplished executive to serve as Chief Executive Officer and Country Head of Fund Administration, a role designated as PCF-8 and subject to the prior approval of the Central Bank of Ireland. The appointee will lead the Irish fund administration business, set and execute its strategy, deliver sustainable commercial growth, maintain a strong regulatory and control environment, and ensure consistently high standards of client service and operational performance. The role will provide clear executive leadership to the Irish Fund Administration organisation while working closely with regional and global Fund Services colleagues.

Principal Accountabilities

Strategy and Commercial Growth

• Own and execute the strategy for CSC’s Fund Administration business in Ireland, delivering sustainable revenue growth, profitability and market share.
• Translate strategy into an annual business plan with clear financial, client, people, operational and regulatory objectives.
• Build an effective pipeline through CSC’s global network, existing clients, advisers and business partners.
• Strengthen relationships across the Irish funds ecosystem and lead senior-level business development activity.
• Develop CSC’s market profile through thought leadership, targeted media activity and visible participation in relevant industry forums.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing and Commercial teams to originate, qualify and convert opportunities.

Regulatory Governance and Risk

• Act as the accountable Chief Executive for the Irish regulated entity, promoting effective governance, sound decision-making and compliance with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
• Maintain a constructive and transparent relationship with the Central Bank of Ireland and ensure that regulatory matters are escalated, addressed and reported appropriately.
• Work with the heads of Risk and Compliance while respecting the independence of those control functions; ensure that the business maintains effective risk management, compliance, financial crime, outsourcing and operational resilience frameworks.
• Collaborate with the heads of AIFM and Depositary to develop a coherent client proposition while preserving regulatory independence, appropriate oversight and separation of duties.

Operations and Client Leadership

• Provide executive oversight and constructive challenge to the Head of Operations, with clear accountability for service quality, operational performance, control effectiveness and scalable delivery.
• Maintain senior relationships with key clients, anticipate emerging needs, resolve material issues and support retention, wallet growth and cross-selling.
• Sponsor technology, data and process improvements that strengthen controls, improve efficiency and enhance the client and colleague experience.
• Deliver an integrated operating model across Ireland with clear roles, service standards, oversight and accountability.

People and Group Leadership

• Lead the Irish organisation in accordance with CSC’s values, fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, inclusion, collaboration and high performance.
• Build leadership capability, succession depth and professional development across the business.
• Represent the Irish business in regional and global governance and commercial forums, contributing actively to the wider Fund Services strategy.
• Represent CSC credibly with clients, regulators, industry bodies and other external stakeholders.

Measures of Success

• Performance will be assessed through a balanced scorecard covering revenue and pipeline growth; margin and cost discipline; client retention and Net Promoter Score; employee engagement and leadership development; service quality and operational resilience; control effectiveness and regulatory outcomes; delivery of agreed technology initiatives; and the effectiveness of the Ireland–India operating model. There will be a key focus on sustainable revenue growth, through growing existing clients and bringing in quality new clients aligning with CSC’s risk appetite.
• The role requires travel within Ireland and internationally.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Substantial senior leadership experience in fund administration, with executive accountability for commercial, operational, client and control outcomes.
• Deep knowledge of the Irish funds industry, applicable regulatory expectations and the principal legal and operational structures used for alternative and regulated funds.
• A demonstrable record of originating and converting new business, supported by a strong network within the Irish funds market and abroad.
• A strong record of executive client relationship management, retention, revenue growth, increased wallet share and responsible cross-selling.
• Relevant experience across alternative investment strategies, particularly real estate, private equity and private debt.
• The standing, experience and judgement required to perform a PCF-8 role, subject to the Central Bank of Ireland’s Fitness and Probity assessment and prior approval.
• A relevant third-level qualification in finance, accounting, business or a related discipline; an appropriate professional qualification would be advantageous.
• Experience developing market-facing thought leadership and representing an organisation publicly.
• Knowledge of hedge funds, ETFs and UCITS, together with experience of multi-jurisdictional service delivery.
• Experience leading technology-enabled transformation or operating-model change across more than one location.
