Job summary

Citco in Ireland seeks an SVP to lead and develop its corporate secretarial services, delivering governance, board support and entity management across Ireland and the Cayman Islands. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Secretarial in Europe, you will drive strategic transformation, governance policy and high-performing teams, working with senior leaders across Europe and globally.

This role offers exposure to complex fund structures and opportunities to shape client outcomes in a growing global

Qualifications

  • 10-15+ years’ experience in corporate secretarial services with focus on investment funds.
  • Managerial experience with at least 8 years in a leadership role.
  • CGI UK & Ireland or governance accreditation preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish and Cayman Islands fund structures and governance requirements.

About the Team & Business Line:

Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our global Alternative Asset servicing is one of the industry’s most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience. As a leader of our Corporate Secretarial Services offering from Ireland, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon. Our Corporate Secretarial Services offering is one of our fastest growing global ancillary business supporting our core Administration services across the Alternative Asset servicing industry.

Your Role

As the SVP of the corporate secretarial team, you will be responsible for leading and developing Citco’s corporate secretarial services business in Ireland, delivering high-quality governance, board support and legal entity management services to a diverse portfolio of alternative investment structures in both Ireland and the Cayman Islands. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Secretarial (Client Services) in Europe, you will play a key role in driving business growth, leading strategic transformation initiatives, enhancing operational excellence and fostering a high-performing team culture. Working closely with senior management and key stakeholders across Europe and globally, you will drive business performance, support organizational transformation, develop talent and contribute to the continued expansion of Citco’s corporate secretarial business across key markets.

Strategic Leadership & Transformation
  • Lead the delivery of corporate secretarial and board support services to complex alternative investment structures across multiple jurisdictions (Ireland and the Cayman Islands).
  • Drive the implementation of strategic transformation initiatives, including operation model enhancements, service standardization and digital enablement.
  • Identify opportunities to improve scalability, efficiency and service quality through innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Act as a senior escalation point for complex operational, governance and client matters.
Governance & Regulatory Leadership
  • Provide leadership and oversight of the Corporate Secretarial Services delivered to Citco’s clients
  • Promote governance best practice and support the consistent delivery of high-quality governance solutions across all client engagements.
  • Maintain awareness of legal, regulatory and industry developments that may impact clients, service delivery models or governance obligations
  • Ensure appropriate risk management, internal controls and operational governance frameworks are maintained
  • Support the development and implementation of governance policies, procedures and service standards.
Financial Performance & Business Growth
  • Contribute to the achievement of revenue, profitability and strategic growth objectives for the Corporate Secretarial Services business in Ireland.
  • Monitor key financial, operational and client performance metrics and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Support business development initiatives, client presentations, proposals and commercial discussions.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for service expansion and enhanced client solutions
  • Assist in the development of business cases and strategic initiatives that support sustainable growth.
Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Act as a trusted advisor on governance-related matters and support clients in achieving their governance objectives
  • Ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional client services and high-quality governance solutions.
  • Foster collaboration across multiple lines of business to deliver integrated client outcomes
People Leadership & Change Management
  • Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team of governance professionals
  • Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, inclusion and continuous learning.
  • Support recruitment, succession planning and talent development initiatives
  • Coach and mentor team members, providing opportunities for professional growth and career development
  • Drive employee engagement and support organizational change initiatives.
Qualifications
About You:
  • You bring 10-15+ years’ experience in corporate secretarial services (with a particular focus on investment funds) gained through a fund administrator, fiduciary provider or law firm with at least 8 years of that experience being in a managerial role.
  • Professional qualification such as CGI UK & Ireland or other relevant governance-related accreditation is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of alternative investment fund structures in both Ireland and the Cayman Islands and the associated governance requirements
  • Demonstrated experience leading organizational change, operational transformation and business growth initiatives
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to balance client, operational and financial objectives
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams within a dynamic and evolving environment
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
