Job summary

Spectrum Health is seeking a Healthcoach to coach and support clients in Ireland, helping them set realistic goals and develop plans to reach them. The role is onsite at corporate locations in Cork, Limerick, Clare, Galway and surrounding counties with occasional digital work.

It is a part-time, contractor position. The ideal candidate holds a health-related degree and 2–3 years post-qualification experience, with a professional indemnity insurance and a valid driving license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field such as physiotherapy, physical therapy, nutrition, exercise science, health education, psychology or a related discipline.
• Full clean driving license and access to own car (essential).
• 2-3 years post qualification experience working with individuals to facilitate behaviour change/improve health & wellness (ideally).
• Professional Indemnity Insurance (essential).
• Relevant private practice clinical experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Help clients improve their health, by assisting them in setting realistic short, medium and long-term health goals.
• Assessing their current health via a series of quick checks, and coaching them as they work towards those goals.
• Complete a series of health checks for each client.
• Create a tailored fitness, nutrition and wellbeing program based on their goals.
• Meet with clients several times to provide coaching to help them make long term health and lifestyle changes.
• Maintain accurate and up to date records.
• Liaise with other healthcare professionals in a timely manner.
• Part-take and facilitate in internal studygroups.
• Meet continuous education requirements and maintain an up-to-date CPD folder
• Report equipment repairs to the operations team.
• You may be required to create content and blogs from time to time.
• You may be required to work with the marketing team and provide them with on the ground feedback.
• Other ad hoc duties as and when required.
