Job summary

Securitas is seeking a Corporate Security Officer in Ireland to ensure the safety of premises, assets, and people. You will respond to incidents, monitor CCTV, and control access while maintaining a vigilant presence across shifts.

Role includes parking management, admin duties, and collaboration with responders. Training and career development are highlighted as part of a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in security or related field preferred.
• Emergency response/crisis management experience desirable.
• Physically fit; CPR and first aid certification may be required.
• Excellent communication and written skills; able to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong integrity and confidentiality.
• Knowledge of security systems, CCTV and access control.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms and emergencies to contain and resolve problems.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems; investigate suspicious activity.
• Conduct regular patrols and inspections; enforce security policies.
• Control access to restricted areas; issue badges and manage keys.
• Document security incidents and prepare detailed reports.
• Coordinate with security personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Participate in training on security procedures and crisis management.
• Oversee parking activities and manage permits for visitors and vendors.
• Perform admin tasks including email queries and lost property handling.
• Screen incoming mail and packages; assist with security screening.
