Securitas in Dublin is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to protect people, property, and peace of mind. You’ll help create a safe, welcoming atmosphere for clients, staff and visitors, with a focus on reliability and professional conduct.

This full-time role offers flexible shifts (including nights and weekends) and opportunities to work with prestigious clients. You will monitor access, perform patrols, respond to alarms, and maintain incident logs while delivering excellent customer

Qualifications

PSA Licence required for the role.
Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.
Professional appearance and attitude.
Flexibility to work various shifts including nights and weekends.
Good level of PC skills.
Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
Manual handling - Desirable.
Own transport Desirable.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to client premises, ensuring only authorized personnel are admitted.
Carry out regular patrols and inspections to deter and detect suspicious activity.
Respond swiftly to alarms and emergencies, acting decisively and calmly.
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a strong security presence.
Write clear, accurate incident reports and maintain security logs.
Operate security systems and surveillance equipment as required.
Ensure compliance with site-specific procedures and protocols.
