Job summary

Securitas is hiring a Security Officer to protect premises and people at a Dublin client site. You’ll maintain a visible, professional presence and respond quickly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies to minimise risk.

Your role includes monitoring CCTV, enforcing access control, conducting patrols, and collaborating with responders. A high school diploma and security experience are preferred. Flexibility across shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in security or related fields is preferred.
• Emergency response and crisis management experience is desirable.
• Good physical fitness and ability to respond quickly.

Responsibilities

• Respond swiftly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies to contain risks.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and access control systems for threats.
• Conduct patrols and inspections to deter crime and maintain safety.
• Control access for authorised personnel and issue badges as needed.
• Document incidents and actions in clear reports for investigations.
• Collaborate with security teams and emergency services when required.
• Participate in training to stay updated on security best practices.
• Oversee parking management, visitor parking, and event support.
• Screen incoming mail and packages using security equipment.
