As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced, commercially driven Corporate Sales Manager with a proven background in hotel or hospitality sales to join our team and play a key role in growing our corporate and business customer base.
Please note: this is a full-time, on-site role based in Ballybofey, Co. Donegal. It is not a remote or hybrid position. This role also requires previous sales experience within a hotel or hospitality environment. Applications without relevant hospitality sales experience will not be considered.
As Corporate Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing Gallen Group's corporate sales strategy, building strong relationships with existing and prospective business clients, and identifying new opportunities to increase revenue across the group, including corporate accommodation, conferencing, meetings, events, and group business.
This is a hands-on sales role for an experienced hospitality sales professional who can hit the ground running from day one. You will already understand how hotel sales work, know where corporate business comes from in Donegal and the wider North West, and be ready to start converting opportunities into long‑term commercial partnerships. The role is based in Ballybofey, with regular travel throughout Donegal and the North West to meet clients and develop new business.
Develop and execute a proactive corporate sales strategy aligned with Gallen Group's commercial objectives.
Identify, target, and secure new corporate accounts across Donegal, the North West, and beyond, drawing on your knowledge of the local business landscape.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients, agencies, local businesses, public sector bodies, and organisations.
Manage and grow existing corporate accounts, maximising revenue and retention.
Drive corporate accommodation, conference, meeting, and event business across the group's hotels.
Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, presentations, site visits, and show‑rounds.
Develop corporate packages and rate agreements in partnership with revenue, reservations, events, and operations teams.
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular reports on activity, opportunities, conversion, and revenue.
Work closely with marketing to support corporate campaigns, promotions, events, and lead‑generation activity.
Monitor market trends, competitor hotels, and new business opportunities in the region.
Negotiate corporate rates, contracts, and commercial agreements within agreed parameters, with an understanding of hotel revenue management and yield.
Represent Gallen Group at relevant trade events, networking functions, exhibitions, and business forums.
Ensure a consistently high level of service for corporate partners and identify opportunities to increase their engagement with the group.
Achieve agreed individual and team sales targets.
