Job summary

Panda is Ireland’s leading waste management and recycling provider. The Corporate Sales Administrator role sits in the corporate division and supports sales, invoicing and compliance tasks for our Dublin-based customers.

The role involves handling emails, quotes, orders and queries, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and customer service. We offer hybrid working, a 6-month probation to permanent, and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent level of computer literacy; Excel would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of the Waste Industry is advantageous.
  • Demonstrates ability to handle difficult situations tactfully.
  • Good team player with flexibility to accommodate changing days.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming emails and direct to appropriate personnel.
  • Quote new and existing accounts and handle pricing/POs queries.
  • Process customer-related queries in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Book orders via phone and email; deal with invoices and pricing queries.
  • Liaise with other departments to resolve service queries/complaints.
  • Maintain compliance paperwork and disposal policies.

About The Role

Corporate Sales Administrator

Location: Millennium Park, Cappagh Road Ballycoolin, Dublin 11, D11PN52

Hours: 45 hours

Reporting to: Customer Service Manager

The Panda Group is Ireland’s leading provider of waste management and recycling solutions. The key elements of the business are collections, processing, and conversion to energy.

The Role

The role of working in the corporate division covers all aspects of waste removal and disposal within the corporate industry. Handling compliance paperwork, disposal policies, sales for new works, quoting new and existing accounts, retention on existing works, any changes to costs, policies and compliance, booking orders via phone and email, retaining POs and handling invoices queries relating to pricing and PO’s. Through this division we are very hands on with our customer portfolio and in turn gain positive relationships with sites and office personnel.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Answering incoming emails and directing emails to appropriate personnel
  • Answering questions about our organisation and providing customers with other information as required.
  • Dealing with service queries/complaints and liaising with other departments to resolve issues.
  • Process all customer related queries and requests in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Making outbound calls to customers when requested
  • Forwarding documents/reports to customer when needed (all relevant compliance)
  • Calls / ordering - what to look for on orders- waste types, costs etc
  • CIS- all aspects
  • Logs- dealing with issues- wasted journeys etc
  • Invoice queries – PO and cost based.
  • Reports- all aspects
  • Compliance- EWC codes, LEED, waste categories
  • Pricing jobs- what to look for and how to evaluate
About You
  • Have Elemos experience (if internal)
  • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent level of computer literacy a must (help expedite report generation as required), excel would be a positive.
  • Knowledge of the Waste Industry an advantage
  • Demonstrates ability to tactfully handle difficult situations.
  • Good team player
  • Flexible- days can often change and we need to be able to accommodate.
