Job summary

European Tech Recruit is seeking a Core Platform SoC Infrastructure Engineer to develop low-level device drivers at the hardware/software interface, collaborating with hardware designers across ARM and DSP-based processors. The role is a permanent onsite position based in Cork, Ireland.

The candidate will develop and support drivers for hardware peripherals, work with ARM/RISC-V interfaces, and build Python automation to streamline driver workflows.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of embedded software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C.
• Knowledge of ARM and/or RISC-V architecture a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support low-level device drivers directly controlling hardware—digital clocks, voltage regulators, GPIOs, and interrupts.
• Collaborate closely with hardware designers to understand, improve, and implement hardware/software interfaces.

The team is looking to hire a Core Platform SoC Infrastructure Engineer to develop low-level device drivers at the hardware/software interface, working directly with hardware designers across ARM and DSP-based processors.

This is a permanent, fully onsite opportunity based in Cork, Ireland.
