Job summary

Amazon Data Services Ireland Limited is seeking a Controls Engineer for Construction (BMS/EPMS) to lead building automation across AWS data centers in EMEA. You will deploy, test, and commission BMS/EPMS systems, coordinate with internal teams, and drive project scopes from conception to completion.

The role requires a strong background in electrical/mechanical engineering, vendor management, and data center operations, with willingness to travel domestically and internationally and to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in vendor management.
• Experience in data center or other critical environments.
• Experience in data center engineering or operations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Ascertain customer needs to develop project scope and specifications.
• Coordinate with AWS DCEO teams to implement new builds and upgrades.
• Ensure high availability and resiliency of data center control systems.
