Amazon Development Centre Ireland Limited is seeking a Controls Design Engineer to lead BMS/EPMS standards for AWS data centers. You will work across Leased, Build-to-Suit, and Colocation facilities, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure alignment with global design standards.

You will apply deep knowledge of building operations, electrical and environmental controls, and project management to drive cost-effective, safe, and scalable control systems across AWSGlobal

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with building management and electrical power monitoring systems (BMS/EPMS).
• Experience in data center controls and environment monitoring.
• Knowledge of control diagrams, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Experience engaging with vendors and design teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead the development of BMS/EPMS standards and guidance for global projects.
• Coordinate with construction teams, engineers, and project managers to deliver control system solutions.
• Review vendor submittals and ensure alignment with AWS standards.
• Manage information requests and SOWs across multiple sites and projects.
• Travel as needed to support global data center initiatives.
