Job summary

Asset Recruitment seeks a Junior Contracts Administration Consultant in Ireland to support NEC4 and PPP contract administration across transport infrastructure projects. You'll work within a multidisciplinary team to monitor performance, assist with contract management, and help prepare formal correspondence.

The role requires an NFQ Level 8 engineering degree and 5+ years on transport infra projects, plus 3+ years overseeing operations.

Qualifications

• A Level 8 NFQ/QQI qualification or equivalent in civil, structural, mechanical, or electrical/electronic engineering.
• 5+ years' post-graduate experience on transport infrastructure projects.
• 3+ years' post-graduate experience overseeing operations and maintenance.
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contract management and administration, performance monitoring and supervision.
• Prepare draft responses for formal contract correspondence.
• Audit, site inspections, monitoring and compliance checks on operations and maintenance.
• Support Task Orders, Compensation Events or variation notices for concessions.
• Evaluate contractor submissions, including Task Orders and Compensation Events.
• Review PPP Design and Design Check Certificates for compliance.
• Report traffic data and patterns.
• Provide technical advice and monitor Tunnel Safety Directive obligations.
• Attend and review NEC4/PPP emergency exercises; liaise with client and contractor teams.
