Job summary

Jobgether partner company in Ireland seeks a Senior Platform Security Engineer to harden AI-enabled workflows, secure software delivery, and improve production resilience. This hands-on contract role focuses on secure autonomous AI agent execution, CI/CD security, and robust access controls.

You will collaborate with platform, engineering, and security teams to design, prototype, and implement practical security tooling, SBOMs, and policy-driven security guardrails across cloud-native

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, DevSecOps, or Platform Security.
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing security controls directly, not just reviews or reports.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating security into developer workflows.
• Know-how of software supply chain security, including dependency management and vulnerability management.
• Understanding of IAM/RBAC and least-privilege principles.
• Experience with container security and Kubernetes tooling.
• Ability to write automation or security tooling in Go or Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, evaluate, and implement controls for secure AI agent execution and auditability.
• Integrate security checks into CI/CD pipelines and PR workflows.
• Evaluate security tools and AI-assisted code security approaches for accuracy and usability.
• Strengthen production access controls with least-privilege and audited pathways.
• Adapt tooling and workflows for secure production access and controlled deployments.
• Improve CI/CD and software supply chain security with SBOMs, signing, and policy enforcement.
• Develop security automation and guardrails for engineering teams to adopt.
• Collaborate with engineers on design, prototyping, and production integration of improvements.
• Contribute to broader security initiatives with specialist teams as needed.
• Produce technical docs and handover materials for long-term ownership.
• Deliver changes with low-risk implementation while preserving availability.
