Job summary

European Tech Recruit partners with a global semiconductor leader to hire a Staff Software Engineer focused on AI accelerator card security in Cork, Ireland. The role targets building secure provisioning, attestation, and a Platform Root of Trust across firmware and software components.

The successful candidate will define security requirements, implement secure communications between BMC and platform-management services, and collaborate with vendors to address gaps while engaging in standards

Qualifications

• Understanding AI accelerator card components and their security relevance.
• Knowledge of key/certificate management, root-of-trust security, boot-chain security and firmware authentication.
• Experience performing security risk assessments and drafting security specifications.
• Proficiency in C for firmware/software security review and Python for provisioning utilities and test automation.
• Familiarity with Redfish, SPDM, PLDM; advantageous exposure to OCP/CCC or IETF RATS; post-quantum crypto in attestation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define and document security requirements for AI accelerator card components.
• Define secure communication between BMC and platform-management services (Redfish, SPDM, PLDM).
• Design processes for device identity, measurement collection and attestation via PRoT.
• Design device personalisation and provisioning services for keys, certificates, identities, and config data.
• Evaluate third-party components against security requirements and address gaps with vendors.
• Represent security team in customer, vendor and standards discussions on attestation protocols.
