Job summary

Malone Group in North Dublin is seeking an experienced Project Engineer (Pharmaceutical) to support the delivery of capital and operational projects at a large pharmaceutical facility. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget, aligned with business and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or related).
• 5–10 years’ experience in project engineering within pharma.
• Experience delivering projects in live GMP facilities is essential.
• Experience with purified water systems, utilities infrastructure and HVAC/AHU replacement in pharma/GMP environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of approved projects from concept through handover.
• Develop project scopes, business cases, cost estimates and execution strategies.
• Manage schedules, budgets, risks and resources with project controls.
• Deliver projects in a live GMP environment with minimal disruption to operations.
• Provide clear reporting on progress, risks and mitigation plans.
• Ensure GMP, fire, access and EHS compliance.
• Coordinate design consultants, OEMs and vendors.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables (drawings, specs, submissions).
• Oversee contractor activities on site and ensure safe, high-quality execution.
• Support installation, FAT/SAT, commissioning and handover.
• Identify energy efficiency, sustainability and operational improvements in utilities/HVAC.
