Job summary

QCS Staffing seeks an IT Infrastructure Technician for a Roscommon, Ireland-based initial 12-month contract in Life Sciences. You will support IT infrastructure work from installation through commissioning and handover, coordinating with Engineering, Facilities, Automation and vendors to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with safety and documentation standards.

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or related field.
Extensive experience with IT infrastructure deployment, data centre, network, server room projects.
Experience with structured cabling, rack builds, patching, network hardware and asset management.
Ability to follow procedures, drawings, and safety standards in construction/operational environments.

Responsibilities

Support delivery of IT infrastructure work packages from installation to handover.
Coordinate with Engineering, Facilities, Automation, vendors and Global IT Operations.
Monitor vendor activities, ensure work aligns with scope, safety and specifications.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, asset records and service handover packs.
