Job summary

QCS Staffing in Dublin is seeking a QC Instrumentation Engineer for an initial 12‑month contract in the life sciences sector. You will provide calibration and maintenance services to the QC laboratory, review instrument qualifications, and lead investigations on instrument deviations.

The role requires GMP-lab qualification experience and strong collaboration within a team. The successful candidate will have a B.Sc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (B.Sc.).
• Significant GMP laboratory instrument qualification experience required.
• Experience with instrument calibration, qualification and documentation.
• Experience with technology transfers would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide calibration and maintenance service to QC lab instruments.
• Review and approve instrument qualification, calibration, repairs, and records.
• Ensure appropriate maintenance and verification per instrument use.
• Lead investigations for instrument-specific deviations when they arise.
