Job summary

Brightwater Recruitment is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer for a 6-month contract, hybrid or remote within Ireland. The role focuses on improving agent tooling and infrastructure to support scalable support operations.

You will work across PHP backend and modern frontend frameworks, collaborating with Product and UX stakeholders to deliver high-quality features. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of full-stack experience, strong PHP, and proficiency in React/Angular, including legacy code

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional full-stack development with PHP backend.
• Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks (React and/or Angular).
• Proven track record modernising legacy codebases and delivering incremental enhancements.
• Ability to collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to deliver impactful features.
• Excellent communication and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Improve agent tooling and infrastructure to support scalable customer service.
• Tackle backend and frontend work, ensuring maintainable, high-performance code.
• Refactor legacy modules and introduce modern patterns where appropriate.
• Collaborate with PMs and Designers to shape requirements and deliver features.
• Focus on end-user impact and UX considerations.
