Job summary

The Recruitment Company is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer in Ireland to join a growing engineering team delivering large-scale, business-critical applications with a 70% front-end focus on Angular, TypeScript and RxJS. You will also engage with APIs, backend services and cloud infrastructure, influencing engineering practices and supporting teammates.

You will design, develop, and maintain modern web apps, collaborate across product, architecture, and engineering, and mentor less

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong front-end experience with Angular, TypeScript and RxJS.
• Experience with modern Angular (Signals).
• Experience with Nx or monorepo environments.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and API-driven architectures.
• Some backend experience with Java/Spring or similar.
• Experience with AWS, CI/CD and production support.
• Strong testing practices and modern development practices.
• Experience with Vitest and/or Storybook is beneficial.
• Exposure to observability tooling and AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain modern web applications, with a strong focus on front-end development.
• Build scalable, maintainable user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript and RxJS.
• Contribute to technical design and solution discussions across the application stack.
• Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs and backend services.
• Write clean, well-tested and maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews and help promote strong engineering practices.
• Investigate production issues and contribute to root-cause analysis.
• Improve application reliability, performance, maintainability and test coverage.
• Work closely with product, architecture and engineering teams to deliver new functionality.
• Support and mentor less experienced engineers.
