Job summary

JEET EMPLOYMENT SERVICES is seeking a Site Supervisor to lead day-to-day construction activities on site. You will manage on-site teams, ensure adherence to project plans, and coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to keep work progressing safely and to high quality standards.

The role requires hands-on leadership, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem solving, with a focus on safety, documentation, and timely reporting of site progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of construction methods, materials and equipment.
• Experience with on-site supervision and coordinating crews.
• Familiarity with Singapore building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
• Supervise and direct subcontractors and workers, ensuring efficient workflow and quality workmanship.
• Monitor and control materials, equipment, and resources on site.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Enforce strict adherence to safety regulations and company safety policies.
• Conduct daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings.
• Ensure all workers are equipped with and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Ensure all work is performed to the required quality standards and specifications.
• Inspect and approve completed work, identifying and rectifying any defects.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, and progress.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and workers.
• Provide regular progress reports and updates to the project manager.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, incident reports, and material tracking.
• Identify and resolve any on-site issues or conflicts promptly and effectively.
• Proactively address potential problems and implement preventative measures.
• Coordinate with relevant parties to find solutions and minimize delays.
