Job summary

Falcon Green is seeking a Site Engineer/Senior Engineer to manage on-site teams and coordinate with designers to ensure information is readily available for construction. You will monitor the programme and drive efficient execution while maintaining safety and quality on site.

Experience leading junior and subcontractor teams, reviewing designs for buildability and coordinating services is essential. The role requires proactive submissions, risk assessments, and close collaboration with the PM

Qualifications

• Experience managing site teams and coordinating on construction projects.
• Strong communication with design teams and subcontractors.
• Proven ability to review plans, raise RFIs and manage site safety.

Responsibilities

• Management of junior engineers / site engineers / subcontractors on site.
• Liaise with the design team to ensure construction has all required information.
• Be fully aware of the project programme (Design, Procurement, Lead-in and Construction).
• Challenge the design to provide commercial benefit where possible.
• Submit technical submissions delegated by the PM within required timescales.
• Generate/review method statements and risk assessments with the team, prioritising safety.
• Carry out inspections and audits of works or delegate to team members.
• Understand package values and report on events impacting these values.
• Ensure design coordination for all building services.
• Ensure contractors comply with required quality control on site.
• Ensure site engineers receive timely information to protect the programme.
• Provide a lessons learnt schedule to the Contracts/Project Manager at key times.
• Assist in closing out subcontractor accounts involvement.
• Advise engineers on setting out methods and techniques to develop them.
