Job summary

Collen Construction is seeking a project management professional with a 3rd level qualification in engineering and 5+ years’ experience with a main contractor. As a member of the project management team, you will influence safety culture onsite by modelling safe behaviour, setting clear expectations, and communicating safety policies.

You will report to the Project Manager and work with the health & safety department to ensure construction is carried out to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in engineering related discipline.
• 5+ years experience with a main contractor.
• Ability to influence safety culture onsite.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Influence safety culture on site through leadership and policy communication.
• Review designs and ensure construction aligns with specifications.
• Read drawings and interpret layouts for production.
• Assign and supervise junior engineers.
• Coordinate materials and plant procurement.
• Liaise with clients, designers, and local authorities.
• Maintain site records and manage on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety standards.
